About InterDataLink: We're a NYC-based managed IT services provider serving small and mid-sized businesses across the NY/NJ metro. We hire engineers and technicians who care about the work, communicate clearly, and treat clients well. Our team includes senior network engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity specialists, and field technicians.
The Network Infrastructure Engineer role is hybrid (mix of remote, on-site at our office, and client visits as appropriate). Reports to the Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise networks for client environments
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers
- Lead network migrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Document network topologies, port maps, IP plans
- Mentor junior engineers
- Provide architecture guidance to sales engineers during pre-sales
Requirements
- 5+ years in network engineering
- Strong with Cisco IOS, Fortinet, Meraki, or Palo Alto
- Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF
- CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE 4+, or equivalent certifications
- Comfortable in client-facing situations
- On-call rotation participation
$110,000 - $150,000 based on experience
