Computers fail in lots of ways: hardware failures (bad RAM, dying SSDs, failed motherboards, fried PSUs), software issues (malware, corrupted OS, driver conflicts, slow performance after years of accumulated cruft), and the weird middle category — intermittent crashes, random reboots, performance that drops off after an hour of use, errors that only happen with one specific application.
For obvious failures we order parts and replace them. For software issues we do deep cleans, OS reinstalls, and migration to fresh setups. For the weird category we run real diagnostics — memory tests, drive health checks, thermal monitoring, event log analysis — until we find the root cause. Most issues we've seen before; the rest, we figure out.
Our team's honest take: if your machine is more than 5-6 years old and repairs would cost more than half the price of a replacement, we'll tell you. We don't waste your money or our time.
