Cloud Solutions Specialist (AWS / Azure)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Solutions Specialist with hands-on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructures for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, automation, DevOps practices, and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
• Evaluate existing on-premise infrastructures and plan effective migration strategies to the cloud.
• Implement and manage cloud security practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance protocols.
• Automate cloud processes using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Monitor system performance, cost, and availability to ensure SLAs are met.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, and storage in cloud ecosystems.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are strongly preferred.
